Scott F. Brockman, Attorney/Mediator
The Brockman Legal Company was established in 2026 to provide a wide array of legal services based upon the experience and expertise of its founder, Scott F. Brockman.
Scott grew up in Nazareth, TX and moved to Norman after high school to attend the University of Oklahoma. After completing college and law school, also at OU, he spent fourteen years with the law firm, Ward & Glass, working on various civil litigation cases, including employment discrimination. His expertise included legal research and writing, and he excelled in client relations. After two years continuing his legal career on his own as a sole practitioner, he left private practice to join the bench as a Special Judge in Cleveland County in 2018.
As a Special Judge, Scott handled all types of cases, including criminal matters, small claims and VPOs. His primary assignment was misdemeanors, and he developed a significant knowledge of the procedure of how cases proceed from filing and arraignment until plea or trial.
After eight and one-half years on the bench, Scott returned to private practice as an attorney and mediator, with a desire to put his experience and knowledge to use in helping clients who need to navigate the legal system, and in helping other parties find resolutions to their case. In addition to the Brockman Legal Company, Scott will be an Of Counsel Attorney with Glass & Tabor in Norman, where he will be collaborating with one of the best civil litigation firms in Oklahoma.
Scott met his wife, Dawn, in law school and they have two children, Ainsley and Finn. Dawn is the Dean of Students at the University of Science and Arts in Chickasha. Ainsley is employed in a post-baccalaureate program with the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD, and Finn is a Sophomore at Loyola University Chicago.

Civil Litigation
Scott has 16 years of experience in all types of Civil Litigation, from filing the Petition to jury trial and appeal. He's guided all sorts of people in all types of legal disputes and situations. He has significant courtroom experience and was known for excellent legal research and writing. He believes it's important to represent his clients in the most efficient and strategic way possible.
Mediations
Scott believes that mediations are an essential part of the legal system. He's guided clients through hundreds of them as a lawyer and conducted over 50 settlement conferences as a Special Judge. Many of these cases were resolved, saving all sides precious time and money.
